1956 Jaguar XK140 MC DHC 3.4L

I am selling an absolutely beautifully restored 1956 jaguar XK140MC DHC (drop head coupe). She is totally reliable and a joy to drive. All metalwork is original. undamaged. and in very good condition. The engine bay is fully detailed. The engine has been professional rebuilt and frame off restoration done by Long Run Imports in Picton Ontario Canada. (http://longrun. com/) in 1990. The rebuild includes new pistons. new clutch. new suspension bushings hardened valves (for burning unleaded fuel). nbsp; and all brake hydraulics. The wheels are new Dayton 16"chrome wire with stainless steel spokes and new spinners. Exterior paint is British Racing Green acrylic enamel. The tan interior was completely redone in 1990 VIN Number A818021 "C" Head installed at dealer-shipped without "C" head "A" in VIN denotes Special Equipment ModelThe car has consistently won "best in class" in almost all car shows it which it was entered. All is original except for an aftermarket fuel pump. The original is included in the sale. It is not a concourse car but with a little amount of work it could be. It is a fun driver and belongs on the road and not on a trailer. All numbers match and a heratige certificate is included as well as several books and shop manual. It has been fun to own and just fun to look at. It is truly a classic and it can be yours for your use and pleasure. There are several cosmetic flaws. Some of which are minor dents on the bumper overriders. some fraying on the interior door fabric. minor chip on rear emblem. fabric pits in trunk around gas filler cap. some pitting on radiator grille. minor tear on convertible top. and some very minor scratches.
