Sporting around our little “Spanish Village by the Sea” is one cool Chevy Restomod Pickup. Professionally rebuilt about five years ago, it has less than 1100 miles on the odometer since built.

The GMC and Chevy Pickups from the 50’s era are just some of the coolest with their big broad fenders and 5-window design. The addition of a newer completely rebuilt 350/350 with modern touches like power steering, a rack and pinion front-end, power discs, modern seats all combine to make for an awesome cruiser for almost any occasion, with the classic look of a 50’s GMC/Chevy Truck.

I am selling this truck for a friend and fellow collector. My background with classic automobiles extends for over 40 years. I have built and restored numerous Corvettes, Mustangs and Porsches and am a member of many car clubs including PCA & NCRS. I have judged at many concour events in and around Southern CA.

This is a stellar, turn-key automobile at a very high level of restoration. A solid #2+ condition vehicle that needs nothing and runs perfectly. The restoration process was extensive and expensive and has been stored in a garage in Southern California since completion, clocking just 1100 miles.

The body work is very high-quality with a high-gloss finish. The original car was a very clean and rust free example, that was reworked with great attention to detail. It is clear to see that every speck of the original paint was removed and this was a windows, doors and hood off restoration. There is zero overspray anywhere to be found.

There is new body rubber everywhere and new felt in the windows. Chrome was redone on the bumpers. The overall paint and body is extremely nice, you would be proud to show this cruiser at any type of show car venues.

The interior is wonderfully restored with new paint, new gauges, new carpet, new headliner, modern seats. The vehicle is equipped with a new modern style with vintage look AM/FM stereo/cassette with surface mounted speakers installed under the seats, instead of cut into the kick panels or doors. The modern style seats are extremely comfortable and look just right in this classic pickup.

The modern engine, transmission and suspension make it ride and perform more like a new Cadillac than an old 50’s truck. The more modern suspension makes for an exceptional ride down the freeway, unlike many older trucks that feel like you are in a buck-wagon. Make no

mistake, the addition of power steering and front power disc brakes to a rig like this are the two absolute must have options for work or fun. I would not own one of these trucks set up any other way than as a restomod. Especially if I wanted to get in it for a daily commute, driving to a show or even on a vintage tour or trip across Country.

The complete wiring harness was replaced during the restoration, along with the brakes and suspension. New radial tires were installed to complete the ride and handling package.

The car starts right up thanks to the more modern HEI Distributor. A bulletproof Rochester Quadrajet sits atop the rebuilt 350/350, giving it plenty of power at the touch of the pedal. This thing cruises at 70-80 mph with no problems. It drives straight down the road with your hands off the wheel and is a dream to drive in tight spots thanks to the power steering.

This little Red Pickup is sensational and has very limited miles since the restoration was finished about four years ago.

Early 50’s GMC’s like this are getting harder and harder to find. This is a great weekend cruiser & show truck and will put a smile on your face every time you jump in and start it up.

This GMC 5-Window Pickup is completely sorted and runs and drives like a dream.
