Car description

Selling this vehicle for a car dealer friend of mine. He uses me to post his best classics on ebay to get the most exposure. This truck is definitely one of my favorites and it is a true head turner. Beautifully restored 1955 Ford F100 pickup truck. Kept very close to original condition. Turquoise blue with dark blue vinyl interior. 272 cubic inch V8 engine with 3-on-the-tree manual shift. True mileage is unknown but the odometer is reading 81324. Modern amenities include 12 volt charging system, igital FM stereo, ual performance exhaust, nd aggressive tires. Cosmetically in excellent clean condition inside and out. I don't believe it was a full blown frame-off restoration but it was very well done and the entire under carriage and engine compartment are extremely clean. There is a sizable stone chip touch up on one of the front fenders as you can see in the close-up photo. A couple very minor paint blemishes but overall the paint is excellent, lean, nd was very well done. Bed does not have a wooden interior but it is nice and clean and rust free. Nice clean interior with no rips in the upholstery. Nice replacement head liner and door panels. The drivers side window unfortunately is badly cracked and that will need to be addressed at some point. That is about the only cosmetic thing you have worry about. Truck starts up immediately and engine is smooth and strong and does not smoke. Impressive power for a little 272 and is will smoke the tires. Transmission shifts into 1st, rd, nd reverse very smoothly. 2nd gear does grind when shifting in and out of gear. My guess is the synchronizers are worn but I can not say for sure. Some time down the road the 2nd gear issue will need addressed but it is still very drivable and I personally would have no fear driving long distances with it. Exhaust system appears to be new. Tires are pretty much like new condition. Crisp battery. Tracks straight down the road and the suspension is nice and plush. Review my feedbacks and bid with confidence. I personally inspected this truck and drove it and this is my honest review with nothing to hide. I love this truck! Feel free to call with any questions (717)873-8019.
