Up for auction is a unmolested very clean original1966 Ford Fairlane XL 500 Convertible with a factory 4 speed manual transmission, 289, 4 barrel, power steering, power top, am radio, steel styled wheels.

Vehicle has 106,696 original miles that is basically all original with the exception of a small amount of paint work. Paint is in decent condition but it has some scratches and imperfections. Vehicle is extremely solid with minor rust just starting in front of right rear wheel see pics. The undercarriage is extremely clean and 100% solid, see pics.

Vehicle is a mid western car that has never seen snow or salt covered roads!

The interior is in excellent condition.

We believe it has the original convertible top which operates properly but is showing some usual wear for its age.

All lights, gauges and optional equipment operate properly! Vehicle runs and drives flawlessly and it can be driven an distance with complete confidence.

Vehicle just had motor work, including new aluminium heads, competition cam, 4 barrel intake, carburetor, dual exhaust with turbo mufflers. New battery, brakes and wheel cylinders. Exhaust sounds fantastic with a slight rumble!!!!!
