Car description

1993 Mustang GT 5.0 5 Speed Manual 152K Miles 2nd owner (Ford Dealership Mastertech Mechanic) since 1998

Mostly original including the factory air box, engine has never been opened up and is 100% stock internally. Has been garage kept and Oklahoma owned, owner prior to me lived in Texas.

Tasteful aftermarket mods are BBK equal length headers, BBK catted H Pipe, 3 chamber flowmaster cat-back exhaust, and Ford Racing 3.55 gears.

Original clutch was replaced at 110K miles, power steering rack, outer tie rod ends, and clutch fan were replaced this last summer.

Cannot say enough about how this car runs and sounds. It is the best possible representation of an easy and reliable weekend driver, local car show, or date night car. Its very easy to drive, stock Ford replacement clutch is effortless and works perfectly, original T5 shifts perfectly, and the 3.55 rear gears are ideal for the 5.0 TQ curve and perfectly civilized on the highway. The rear end is quiet and the suspension and brakes are very tight. NO LEAKS, clean block, transmission, and rear diffPower windows, driver’s seat, cruise control, Rockford Fosgate Stereo, component speakers, amps, and 2 6” subs in the hatch area all work perfectly.

Under the doors are clean and rust free, rear hatch has a few spots as noted, paint is all original to my knowledge, no accidents and nothing has been repainted since 1998 while in my care (bought prior to car-fax), there are a few paint blemishes as noted on the front bumper, car maybe has 2 tiny door dings total. Original Ford 90s era paint – do not expect perfection by any means, but still looks great.

There are a few issues or repairs to mention, power door locks do not work, AC hasn’t worked for awhile (never have used it anyways), speedometer needle floats around past about 55 mph – has been doing this for the last 2000 miles or so (speedo cable has been replaced – problem internally in cluster, correct speedo gear installed for 3.55 gears). Sunroof latch area will drip a drop or 2 when being washed (started this problem this summer, has never been an issue in the past, floor has never been wet, Mustang has not been driven in the rain for the last 15 years, weekends and nice days only) Tires are at 90% tread currently but pretty old DOT production date 2005 era, they ride fairly well, but would need to replaced in my opinion. Airbag light came on last year, pretty sure its within the clock spring in the steering column, I had planned to remove the air bag bulb and air bag fuse, just hadn’t done it yet and figured the next guy could make that decision (I definitely do not want a 27 year old air bag deploying in my face). Small spot in drivers seat as noted on the lower entry bolster could use some patch work at some point.

That’s about all that I can think of about the Mustang, hate to sell it, its been a part of my family for 22 years. Life happens and things change, I am thankful to have kept it this nice for the next potential owner. Title is clean and clear.
