Car description

You are looking at a true BARN FIND!! This 1958 Ford Skyliner was put into dry storage in 1974 and was just removed for the first time since. We put a new points & condenser hooked it up to a gas can and it started right up!! We spent a couple days working on the top cleaning the switches greasing all the mechanics put a different top switch in and with some adjustments we got the top working both up and down! Below are 2 links you can copy and paste to your browser to watch videos of the top going up & down.

This has the 352 Interceptor Special motor with a 3 speed manual shifter on the steering column. It runs excellent and drives but the brakes don't work. The odometer reads 66,951 and I believe that to be the actual miles. The master cylinder is stuck. We mounted a set of used bias ply wide white walls and they all hold air. The chrome is all pretty nice. The drivers window is cracked but all the other glass is good.

There is one dent on the front by the right park light. It looks like the lower rear quarters were patched at one time and there have been patches above the headlights which both were probably done in the 1960's.

The frame looks nice with no rust holes. The floor pans have some rust by the front body mounts & in the very back of the trunk in the rear corners. The rear floors look nice, the trunk pan below the spare tire is nice. Overall this is a pretty nice unmolested barn find that wouldn't take much to make a driver as is or a great car to restore!

There is a clear Minnesota title from 1973.

A $1000 deposit is due with 24 hours of auctions end and the balance within 7 days be wire transfer, check, or cash in person. If paying by check the car can't leave until the funds have cleared. I would like the car picked up with 14 days but I understand trucking sometimes is hard to line up.

Please ask any and all questions. Thanks, Jeff
