Car description |

Now for those who are saying F*#% the rules and my neighbors opinions on appropriate noise levels... then you might be on to something here. If you're 6'5", unless you're planning to build an acrylic Pope Car bubble top to replace the roof rack, or wear vintage pilots goggles, probably not for you. If you haven't seen your... erm.... feet... in a long time, because of all the bud heavy's you crush in your porch rocker... probably not your car either. She's got tight quarters, a low stance, and all kinds of unforgiving odds and ends. Be prepared.
Haven't lost you yet? Cool. Now that we've gotten real, this thing is bad ass. The main reason I bought the car after hunting for a rat for a while, is undoubtedly the Flathead. Unlike all the other Ford rats with the Chevy transplants, this thing is ford through and through. It's got bags in the back, static up front obviously, and travels enough to safely scale a speed bump god forbid. At a stop, it will lay pans and crush cans for your buddies Instagram videos on command. All the lights work including dash lights. Automatic shifts exactly as it should with the bad ass LOKAR push button shifter. Vintage MOON Finned Filter and Pedals. Tasteful rat stuff going on like the 1951 Moxie bottle puke tank, and some vintage burlap seat covers, otherwise no cheeky spiders or skull faced tire stem caps. She rattles and bangs about, but travels down the road strong and straight and can ruin a nicely paved driveway with loops of burnt rubber like no other (see video). If you're looking for a rat that wont get lost in a see of rats, but wont only get noticed because of ridiculous gimmicky decorations, this is the one. A mature rat rod if I dare say. I've owned the car a couple years now. Titled and Insured in my name ready to go. Has been a blast to roll up to cookouts and bar hop with. If you have the right mindset for a rat rod, this will check the right boxes no doubt. Comes with custom built roof rack as seen in pictures and a second set of tires for buy it now price.
I will be listing this car only once. If it doesn't get what it should here round 1, then I will be raffling it off. If you're seriously interested in making this thing yours, be ready and bid for real.
As these things go, some key points to make and understand before bidding. Given the age of the car and what it is, and of course the venue in which it’s being listed, I am offering this sale AS-IS, no warranties outside of my word on the items mentioned above, and no refunds of any kind once the deal is done. This said PLEASE ask any and all questions, come and see/inspect the car if you’re able, and get all of your own permissions/financing/space cleared in your garage BEFORE you bid. Keep in mind, this IS a 90 year old custom build car, an will likely have things to mess with and improve on. That said, its a badass hot rod that can be driven day one. BUY IT NOW can be agreed on at $18,500 or upon discussion, so please reach out if this is of interest. The car is also going to be listed elsewhere and for sale locally, first to pay is the new owner. Otherwise, bid what you can afford to and are committed to pay, and we’ll see from there! PayPal for deposit is OK, the rest will have to be wire, cash, or certified bank check (PP Fees too high for full payment). Nothing gets handed over till funds clear. Pick up here at my storage facility in Worcester is expected within 5 business days of end of auction. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer, but I will of course do anything I can on my end to help get that sorted. I’ve both shipped a car home and away so I’m happy to lend my experience onto whomever might not have before to make it go smoothly. I have all the paperwork, clear/clean title, ready for new owner to register in their name etc, all will be sent certified mail once funds are cleared.
In closing, my reputation on here means a lot to me, and my enthusiasm for these cars and the people that enjoy them is my favorite part of the hobby. If there is anything you’d like to know or share in regard to this killer 29 ford, I’d love to chat. Please feel free to consider my feedback, and or speak with anyone that has purchased a car from me in the past if you have any concerns. Thanks again for the interest and good luck with the bidding :) Cheers, Brando
