Car description |
---|
Good news: Only 5000 miles on the rebuilt 460 V8 engine. Battery replaced October 2018. Also some new parts I bought but haven't installed yet, all in a goodie box that goes with the truck.
Bad news: Needs lots of other stuff: Windshield wiper linkage, gas gauge sensors, power window mechanism, dashboard & radio are junk. Minor front end damage.
Unusual stuff: This truck has a 4.10 rear end and T-19 transmission. That means you have three forward gears for normal driving, plus a super-low "Granny" gear. The guy I bought it from said he ran it as fast as 75 mph, I'm not comfortable going beyond 65. It also has a brake assist that came with it, and a lumber rack that I put on.
It could be a restoration project, or a work truck for somebody in the masonry business.
I'm selling because I'm getting old, I don't use it enough, I have too many projects to work on, and my wife hates the truck.
