Car description

I purchased this car from the original owner less than a month ago. A week later my Father died. and I'm handling the estate and trust. I have to pay some of his bills. funeral. and intensive care bills. so this car is sacked : ( I bought it never intending to sell it. In fact. I never titled it or plated it (never had the chance!). so it's still a one-owner with a clean Carfax. It's living in my heated garage. Here was the original owner (John) ad here on Ebay. you'll find it if you do a search:One owner Mustang GT Convertible 5. 0 that runs perfectly. I purchased this vehicle brand new in 1991 after returning from desert storm. I have kept it in a garage for about 75% of its life. so it is in great shape. It has been a summer "fun" vehicle so the mileage is extremely low. I drove it conservatively for most of its life because it was my "baby". It has a new top and the premium sound system from Ford. All other parts of the car are factory stock. I HATE to sell it. but need the money worse than the car at this point. John is still looking for the original window sticker (he knows he has it. but he moved last year and it's just a matter of digging it out). With his permission. I am willing to put a prospective new owner in touch with him. This car is ORIGINAL. UNMOLESTED. STOCK STOCK STOCK. NOTHING has been changed or altered. except the stock radio (which John is supposed to be sending me). John just had a brand new O. E. M. top put on it (at the dealership in the original color) last year. The paint is 9. 5/10. is original. and is a beautiful green with pearlescent blue overcoat (called "Jewel green"). It has it's little imperfections (that's how you know it's stock and not repainted- the oem paint back in those days was not like today) but it's in astonishingly good condition. This car is almost show quality. and wouldn't take too much reconditioning. I was going to re-do the door/window seals. and the trim around the windows (the black has faded). The interior is nearly perfect. I'd say 9. 5/10. The car does not seem to have any leaks. or have any problems other than those outlined above. The engine bay is pretty clean. as is the undercarriage. The driver's door lock is stuck. You can look down in the hole and see the stem. and when you try to operate the power lock. it budges. I think if you just take off the door panel and poke it back through its hole it would work fine. But it's missing the little chrome cap. The driver's rear window works. but if you roll it down too far. it comes off the clips and you have to pull it up by hand and then press the "up" to make it stay up. Either broken clips or just needs re-attached. The fog lights work. but the covers are missing. That's it- that's all that's wrong with the car that I can find. It runs very strong. doesn't shake. is smooth. and drives really well. It's actually good on gas too!! I got 29 when I brought it home from Indy. I put new wiper blades on it. The tires are really good. I'd say 75%. Clean title (open) in hand). John signed off of it. and that's the state it's in. Just print and sign your name. and it's yours. It is readily apparent when you look at this car and drive it that it was not beat on or run hard at all. John is a middle aged guy and did not run this car hard or race it or anything he took very great care of it. It's solid and tight and presents more like a 5 year old car. Buyer responsible for shipping. but I can help facilitate the logistics. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. There will be NO joyrides. Cash or Wire Transfer ONLY. NO TRADES. 500. 00 Deposit due within 24 hours. full payment in 3 days no exceptions. I am not desperate to sell. so no lowballing please. I'm just looking for a fair deal for a great car. I'm not going to play "the game". Do not waste my time. because I'll move on to the next buyer.
