1973 FORD PINTO RUNABOUT, original 2000 CC Engine with original 4 speed transmission (nice clutch), factory cold Air Conditioning, and an actual 69,000 original miles.
Solid front end & suspension (no shimmy, no shake, no vibrations, no rattles). The interior is pristine except for "one" crack in the dash cover (sun related). The carpets throughout are nearly factory condition(no wear & no stains) the seats and headliner are nice too. The weather stripping is still so very good that there is no noticeable age increased wind noise. Everything is in working order.
This nice classic Ford Pinto is not a "barn find" and not someone's restoration project. It is factory original. It obviously has been seldom driven, ibeen kept cleaned and has no mechanical issues. it still drives great andhas not been wrecked. the engine is smooth and noises free and it drives wonderfully.It's only real issue is, that it draws a crowd wherever you park it.
This car was purchased form the local Ford Mercury dealer 45 years ago and although that dealership no longer is, their license plate frame yet remains. Everything about this Ford Pinto Runabout is original. This is an exceptional car and for its age, it is in incredible condition.
