1971 Ford Galaxie 500 429ci

Clean, nearly rust free car. Needs some interior work on driver seat and passenger side carper(light color stain) that would not clear up. (see in pic) Replaced deck lid and front fenders. Nearly rust free underside. SS dual exhaust and mufflers all way to rear bumper two years ago. All floor pans good. Air conditioner needs new receiver/drier. It took a can freon end of summer and compressor runs quitely with no noise. Hoses good. Installed new heater core but outside box under hood needs replaced. Box was brittle and cracked when installing heater core. Heat leaks out box. Ball joints & shocks 4 years ago. Front bearings & seals serviced at same time. Replaced tires 3 years ago, approx 1500 miles on them. Summit 850cfm Holley carb works very good. Converted over to electronic ignition. Doors are still solid when closing. 9in rear end with posi tract 355 gears. C-6 Tranny. Unable to finish restore due to back problems. Not much left to do except a paint job. Had car detailed by a pro last October & fresh fill of antifreeze. Changed oil & filter last month, also new fuel filter. Starts up every time. Drives and runs good. Pulls like it should. New SS exhaust system all way to rear bumper with new muffler. Good classic to finish restore. Insurance & tags due next month, so it needs to be gone in April. Glad to answer to any questions.
