Car description

A build 65 millions years in the making completed in just 8 months in 2018 with 700 test miles since it came out of paint and continues to change weekly working towards perfection. This has been one of the most fun builds I have done but like the rest, room must be made for the next build. I will say as the owner of severalmovie cars this one gets the most attention and jaw dropping reactions. Here is a partial list of what has been done to this Explorer in 2018. Westarted with a bone stockgrandma driven Explorer that needed nothing mechanically (that is hard to find but did locate one 300 miles away and picked it up). Then the transformation began.
Tram Antennas / modified for screen accuracyJP 04 License PlateDeeZee Running boards (discontinued years ago and impossible to find)Fire Extinguisher/FlaresPelican CaseJohn Hammond's Famous Cane complete with themosquito incased in amber.Cyro Can and case (Barbasol with mechanized spring loaded system / screen accurate of course)Maxa Beam Flashlight (again impossible to find reasonably priced/ note the battery for this one is bad so have to use the cigarette lighter to operate)Faux Night Vision Googles (theyaren't heavy ... lol)Replaced Front Bumper and GrilleOptima BatteryGo Rhino Perfect Recreation Screen Accurate brush guard and tail light guardsNew Headlights, Taillights, Headlamp Reflectors, Trim around head lampsVintage NOS KCbrand topper lights and 6" Search LightHella suitable replace brushguard lights (Dick Cepek impossible to find so still looking)Bubble Roof & Top Box both custom made in California contracted out by fellow motorpooler.BF Goodrich All Terrain TiresReplaced a couple of Center CapsBreak down and have wheels powder coated professionallyTons of seals, rubber bumpers, rear hatch handle and lots more from LMCTruck (my 1st choice for factory type parts)NOS Steering WheelTrack sensor and boxFront Camera / Dash Cameras - not screen accurate but still looking$6,250 to professionally paint and cut the roof off, with screen accurate high quality paint and clear coatFabric printed T-Rex eye/head for photo ops in back seat ... see pictures (popular option)New Trailer Hitch intended to holdlicense plate only.New CarpetTotally custom seats cut down and modeled after movie right down to thepouches towards the rear and custom head liner
Custom console and ipads to run the tour program.
Pick this up and you will soon be wondering "where's the goat?" or "where does he think he's going?"Get used to being asked to take pictures and people asking was itused the movie ... or my favorite "We love your Jeep" .... ugh its an Explorer ... lol ... if youcan't tell, we love this one.
I have been waiting availability on screen accurate dash and console but production has not been completed but I do have the contact for the buyer to contract with to build those. Inpreparation for that I have purchased the screen accurate Front and Rear Panasonic TV's along with Mac Mini with the 04 tour program and w/ relays and wiring to run the tour program, I will be including these to the new owner. I had planned to complete this section before moving on to the next project but it looks like we may be out 60-90 days before parts are available to finish.
Buyer responsible for all shippingarrangementsand isencouraged to see vehicle in person inBethlehem, GA as it really is stunning.Serious inquiries only and a 1,000 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end and balance in cash or certified funds before vehicle is released. There is no reserve and the auction starts atactual costs (not counting my personal labor) in the build so hoping a couple of you like it enough to start bidding so some profit can be made to allow me to continue to build these custom cars. FYI next build up the Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine, if all works well. Happy Bidding!
