Car description

1990 Ford Probe GT Turbo. Super rare car! When was the last time you've seen one of these? This one is in overall excellent condition! Take a look at the photos! Finished in white exterior with gray / red piping interior, this Probe has power windows / locks / mirrors, cold A/C, AM/FM/CD (original radio included), power driver's seat, factory alloy wheels and fog lights. I just pulled this out of the garage after sitting all winter and gave the inside and outside a fresh cleaning. The paint and body are in fantastic condition considering the age of the vehicle. It looks amazing! When I got this car it had a bra on it which spared the front end from getting blasted with rock chips. Even the wheels are in really good shape. No major scratches or dents, although minor imperfections should be expected. There is a small rust bubble starting on the rear lift gate (see photos), I touched it up last year to try and at least contain it. The hand painted pin stripe is fading in some spots-- it's up to the next owner to decide to freshen it up or easily remove it. The interior is clean, no smoke smell or other odor, although there is some wear to the driver's seat that the previous owner put some ugly tape over. I don't think a nice set of seat covers would hurt.
Mechanically this Probe starts, runs and drives excellent. I hooked up a battery tender cable to the terminals and use this to keep the battery in good shape. No smokes, major leaks, or other major mechanical concerns. No warning lights and gauges indicate everything operating as it should. It runs awesome and feels powerful under acceleration. Turbo sounds great and boost gauge indicates it's doing its job. I am aware of some wear to the steering rack-- a minor clunk when the wheel is turned at low speed and a slight pull at highway speed. A/C is cold and heat blows hot, stereo sounds good, pop-up headlights work. It looks like it had a speaker box in it at some point, all the wires and cables look clean, I left it be. Power antenna no longer goes up and down automatically which I understand is a common problem in these. Four new tires recently installed. Comes with both original Ford keys (and a few spares), LeBra front end cover, and all owners manuals and original VIN stamped owners card. Clean Pennsylvania title in hand.
Buy this super rare car without blowing a ton of cash and enjoy the next few months of cruises, Cars and Coffee, and Sunday drives. Truly in nice enough shape you can proudly display it-- I've done my best to keep it as nice as possible. Feel free to contact with any questions or to set up an appointment to view the car.
