You are bidding on a 1949 Ford F-1. 1/2 Ton Panel Delivery Truck. Body is in good condition. Previous owner started a restoration before I purchased the truck and there are places with bondo that need to be finished. Small section of body below right rear door needs work. Running boards are in decent shape. Windshield glass is good (original w/Ford logo) and so is the driver side door glass. Passenger side glass is cracked. Driver and passenger side floor was repaired by previous owner. One glass for rear door is missing but I will be including new glass and rubber seals for both rear doors. Has a Mercury (EAC) 255 cubic inch Flat Head V8 engine. Engine runs (off boat tank). needs water pumps. Saw some water (in with the oil) when the oil was changed and don't know if it was condensation or a head gasket issue. I am sure that the new owner will probably install something a little more powerful. Three speed standard transmission. Front doors do have outside and inside door handles as well as window cranks. Both doors need alignment. Rear doors need inside handle and is available from Mac's. Truck is about 90% complete. Some (but not all) of the parts missing are: glove box. spare tire holder. parking light lenses and rear tail light assemblies. Ash tray is not in photos but I do have it. Tires hold air but are old. There are are new brake shoes. wheel cylinders. hoses. master cylinder and brake lines. Drums turned in the rear and new drums in the front. Pedal feels soft. system may need to be bleed. Original wood floor in rear is in decent shape. Frame is in good shape. Truck needs total restoration. I have the truck about 3 years but haven't done much with it and decided it was time to move on. This would be a great truck when done. Perfect for that resto-mod or maybe back to original. This is a unique truck with not many of them around. If you are looking for something different then this is it. Truck is sold as is. Seller reserves the right to stop auction. truck is for sale locally. I do have title in hand. I have tried to describe the truck to the best of my ability. if you have any questions please email.
