1936 Ford 3w Coupe. Deluxe Model with Trunk; Very Nice old car and mostly original. Re-paint in the early 1960’s. amateur quality. Fenders have typical amateur repairs in the openings. Door fit is below average as they stick out from the body slightly. Grill trim piece below crank hole missing. Grill trim down the sides of the grill is dented. Original wiring that needs replaced. Replacement gas tank and new fuel pump. Totally rust free; original rockers. lower cowl. lower fenders and floors. Very solid. Doors open and close as they should without slamming them. Seat and door panels redone many years ago. Original dash paint and headliner. This is a nice 36 Ford 3w that sat in a warehouse in Texas since the mid 1960’s. The gas tank and fuel pump were replaced and carb rebuilt to get it running. The engine sounds fine with no unusual smoke or noise and the tranny shifts smooth and the clutch works well with no chatter. There are no signs of rust. rot. or patch panels in the: sheet metal or floors and all the sheet metal looks to be original. In fact. the car looks to be original with exception of the repaint. While it does run ok for short drives. it needs the typical mechanical work a 79 year old car that’s been sitting for 50 years would need. It’s not a perfect car. but it certainly has a solid platform. Currently titled to previous owner and I have the valid and clear title. VIN on title matches VIN stamped on frame. although the stamping is very faint. Call me to discuss any details about this nice old Ford. Dave at 480-734-8741.
