1970 Mustang Fastback 250 CI 1V One Owner Car. Up for auction is a very nice unmolested one owner 1970 Mustang Fastback with a 250 CI 1V engine and C4 automatic transmission. This Medium Gold Metallic with Ginger interior Fastback is one of only 407 cars produced with this paint & trim code. This is a one owner car that was purchased from Mike Dorion Ford on Gratiot Avenue in Detroit. The owner drove the car home a few miles north where it spent its entire life. This Fastback was undercoated when new which helped preserve this classic. The car was last licensed in 1991 and has been in storage ever since. The engine turns over freely and the brakes are functional. The underside of the car is very solid with rust only on the drivers torque box/frame rail area. The rear frame rails. shock towers. and radiator support are in excellent condition. The RH fender aprons are in excellent shape and the LH aprons show some blistering on the top side. The quarters both have rust behind the wheels along with the lower truck drops. The LH fender. hood and truck lid are very nice. Both doors and RH fender have some rust and will need repair. The Ginger interior is complete and original with only the driver’s seat ripped and a small crack in the dash pad. The glass is the original and in excellent shape with only the windshield having a crack. The trim is all straight and in nice shape. The buck tag. axle tag. and engine tag are all still attached on this vehicle. The original owners manual. ownership/warranty identification card and Marti Report are also included.
