Car description

84 Ford Econoline E-350 Super Extended Cargo Ambulance - No Reserve

I'm selling my '84' Ford Husker Football Tailgating Ambulance, we've had a great time with it and I hate to see it go, but we could use a little extra cash in the new year. It's an authentic ambulance, a converted '84' Ford E-350 Super Econoline Van, 7.5L V8 Engine, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and Brakes. All the lights and sirens work, it runs well, plenty of room inside to sit and relax at a football tailgate, and plenty of room to haul all your tailgating equipment. BTW, I'm including a bunch of tailgate gear with the Ambulance: Pop-Up Shelter, Large Flag Pole, Camp Chairs, Camp Stove, and Extra-Large Cooler. In addition to an On-board Inverter, It also has "shore power" so you can plug into a 110v source and power all your electronics without worrying about running down the battery. Indicated mileage is 35,352 but I have no idea how many times it has rolled over, we've only had it for about 3 years. It's lots of fun, email me with any questions you might have. We'd prefer a local buyer...

(in response to questions about long trips) I should also say that over the last 3 years we've only used it for a handful of nearby events, we've maybe put 150 or so miles on it ourselves. It has performed well mechanically for us, has always started right up, but we can't attest to its ability to perform reliably on long trips. We just don't have any experience with the vehicle on long trips or on the highway. We just can't say for sure, I hope you appreciate our frankness and carefully consider whether this vehicle is a good candidate for "van camping”. If you're a mechanically talented person maybe this would be a good project car, on the other hand, if you're not mechanically inclined, I would factor into your budget, that it might need some work at some point. Again, we haven't had any problems, but I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable setting out cross-country in it myself. This vehicle is being sold as-is, we're not accepting returns of any sort.
