1965 Ford Mustang 289 4-speed

Up for sale is my classic 1965 Ford Mustang. It is equipped with the 289 cubic inch V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission. It runs and drives very well. The car has many rare factory options, including the Deluxe Pony Interior, Deluxe gauges, Rally Pac tachometer and clock, center console, and true dual exhaust. This particular example is very unique, as a voided VIN number on the driver's side fender indicates a very special past. Upon further investigation, I have learned the Mustang was a factory test car for Ford in the first year of it's life. The specifics of this usage are unknown, but it is extremely rare and quite interesting. Upon completion of this testing, it was sold to a Ford employee, and subsequently his neighbor for most of its life. Recent work has included rebuilt transmission, new floor boards, gas tank, fuel pump, battery, spark plug wires, Edelbrock intake, new 600 CFM Holly four barrel carburetor, radiator, wheels and tires.
