1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. The paint does show some clear coat peeling from age. There are a few small rust bubbles under the paint on the RR quarter panel wheel opening and one on the edge of the hatch, which is normal. Nothing major at all. Underneath is very solid. There is also a dent on the left rocker. Also, the cowl panel is bent but not too bad. All in all...not bad for it's age but far from a show car. Cervini cowl induction hood. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and hatch all open and close easily. Although the door locks aren't working properly. All of the glass and lenses are intact. This car has a nice set of Weld Draglite's that are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around, 255/60-15 in rear. Car is far from perfect but solid for it's age and an awesome foundation for street bruiser. The interior itself isn't too bad. The dash and headliner are clean. The door panels are nice. The carpets are in good condition. This Mustang will need a new weather stripping. You can see on the driver's seat that the sunroof does drip a little water but not bad. The seats are in good shape and are comfortable. Both power windows work. The power locks do not...neither do the mirrors. The stereo is aftermarket. The climate control system needs some work. The heater does not blow hot air and the air conditioner is inoperable. Lots of aftermarket gauges set up in the interior already but half of them not hooked up yet. There seems to be an electrical issue going on in the dash. Not sure previous owner hooked up gauges incorrectly or not. Is going to have to be gone through. Engine is a 306ci with a mild cam, don't know the cam specs. Cold air intake and a full MSD ignition system upgrade. Shorty headers, H-pipe no cats. I was told by previous owner the car has a built C4 trans. I don't know what the specs on the trans are though. Shifts are very quick and clean and no overdrive so I know it's not just a stock trans with a shift kit. Car has 3.73 gears. The engine makes good power and feels strong. Car keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. The transmission feels strong...no slipping. Shifts are very quick and strong. The power steering seems to have a leak also, haven't checked it out but it's probably just a hose. The car has a brand new PA inspection and is a driver. I am selling this as a "project car" because it does need some work to finish. You could use it as a driver or use it as a strong base for a real project. These Foxbody are slated to be the next collectibles. The market on them is going up all the time. If you don't want to spend big money to get into a restored or restified Foxbody Mustang, here is your chance to get a solid, straight car you can put your own touch on with a lot of go-fast goodies already there for you.
