Car description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING:
The price listed is somewhat arbitrary. I am not in touch with what these cars are worth anymore. I would like to have buyer come look at and evaluate. If you can convince me it is worth more or less will be happy to sell at market value.
Bought this GT new, was my first car. Not quite sure why I've held onto it this long, mostly sentimental I'm sure. It's time to find its next owner.
I'm sure anyone looking at this listing is far more in tune with current market then I am.
I have window sticker, manuals, pay booklets to Ford Motor Credit, clear title, etc....
After buying, I drove it for a number of years, and then it sat inside and outside for a number of years, and has been stored in a garage for the last 10 years or so. I start it monthly, roughly, and drive it around a few times a year to keep it moving.
I had the car painted factory color about three years ago. Had it painted because the original paint had faded probably due to sunlight exposure over time. If you look at photos you can see I never reinstalled decals, Ford emblem, hood louver, etc.. Had great ideas to simply restore it cosmetically but have not done it and either someone else can, or I guess I'll put it back in the garage for another decade.
I took it out yesterday and got it up to 110 mph easily.
What it needs is all cosmetic finish work. The emblems and such on the outside, a good detail ( If you look at one of the photos you can see the dust on it before i simply hosed it off), door locks installed.
Interior: Needs a new headliner. Old one started to sag I cut it out. Horn buttons are off don't know if I have. Seats in front are stained a bit, and torn drivers side, I let a friend use the car 15 years ago and he caused some damage.
Only modification I ever made was stereo head unit, cant find the face so will need a new radio.
Door panels are not great would replace if you see fit.
Door seals and sunroof seal I would replace because they are a bit torn and have deteriorated over time.
Black exterior trim needs to be prepped/painted/replaced.
Carpet not great but can probably be cleaned a bit from where it is now.
Needs a new battery. Charges fine but battery itself is no good I don't think.
I could take lots more pictures but feel that is a waste of my time and yours. If you are interested please contact me or buy as suggested. Again price is negotiable.
Please ask any and all questions and please contact me to set up an appointment to see this GT. I need the space ASAP and will sell at fair market value either on Ebay or locally. Vehicle is located in New Haven, CT 06511.
