Car description

This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Thunderbolt Replica is a really neat car. The body is nice and straight and it is very clean underneath as well. I don't see any rust on the car, xcept for the trunk lid has some bubbling and some cracks in the paint. The overall paint is nice but has a few scratches. The graphics on the car are not decals they are all hand painted. The interior is real nice and clean including the headliner. All the glass is good but there is a small chip repair in the windshield but no cracks. The gauges work as well including the gas gauge and there is a CD player stereo in the glove box. The 260 V8 Engine runs and sounds great also. It has a Offenhauser intake with flow master exhaust. It has a new Duralast battery, ew fuel pump and fuel filter. It has a newer aluminum radiator also. The transmission shifts fine, ut sometimes has a minor slip in second gear but not all the time. I drive the car often and it hasn't got worse or caused any problems. It could be shift module but I don't know for sure. It drives fine so I really don't worry about it. The trunk area is nice and clean and it still has the spare tire and jack. The wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust and the tires are in good shape. The front end suspension is nice and tight and doesn't have any wander or play. The car steers really good and handles real nice in the corners. The drum brakes are good and they dostop the car well. The bumpers look new and the chrome is really nice and shiny. All the lights work as well. The mileage is exempt on the title so I don't know what the actual mileage is. This is a nice reliable car that is fun to drive and really gets the looks. If you are looking for a show car this is not one. This is a nice driver quality car but it is not a show car. This would be a great car for that 427 engine you have been waiting to use.
