highest bidder takes it!

Up for auction is my 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible Base model. I purchased the Mustang through a friend of minefrom the 2nd owner who owned the car for well over 20 years. I am told the miles are original (41,334 at the time of this listing) and I have no reason not tobelieve it to be true as he kept the car at his summer home in theHamptons in Long Island NY and his wife drove the car to go into town in the summers. The car had approximately 20,000 miles on it from the first owner according to him. It has the original straight 6cyl which has never been rebuilt and runs like ne, ower steering and power top. It has a new exhaust system, ew Radiator and water pump (installed to be proactive, ot due to any issues), ew brakes (front disc and rear drums, ront disc brakes were installed along with a dual master for safety, have the original drums and single master for an easy conversion back to original). It also has a new fuel tank, ew tires, and a new convertible top. The dash has never been cut to install a modern radio and all gauges function as they should. This car is DRIVER QUALITY and NOT a SHOW CAR. I would not hesitate to drive her cross country and back. The engine runs flawlessly and the transmission shifts crisply and perfectly. She drives smooth and straight as an arrow on the highway, ven when youlet go of the wheel at70 +mph. Its really a pleasure to drive this original, nmolested Mustang. Perfect for cruise nights, trip for ice cream, r a weekend getaway. Again, ot a show car but could be with a minimal investment. She does have flaws in the paint as it is a 19 year old restoration but that does not stop the head turning. No rust to speak of and minimal bodywork required to bring her back to new.I hesitate to call it a 20 footer because in my opinion, ts better than that, utsince every ones opinion is different, 'll play it safe. As far as I can tell, he frame rails are solid, s are the trunk and floors. There is no rot that I have been able to find on the car. I just enjoy driving her. Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions.
