Car description

For Sale is my 1980 X 1/9 Fiat. Before i begin about the car I would like to say that the FIAT club activity and parts suppliers around the country are very active. There are more club events then I can afford and parts for me are supplied at reasonable prices. This car is would be a great investment to a fun life style
.
The 1980 FIAT X 1/9 pictured is an award winning local show car. I purchased the car on E bay 7 years ag, removed every piece from the body shell and repaire, replaced all necessary body pieces with welded in steel as necessary before painting the original colo, sepia. This car was a California model in very good condition to start. From this point I replaced all components necessary when reassembling the car. The car engine and transmission are in STOCK configuratio, no high performance parts are necessary to buy. It is a 1.5 liter motor with a 5speed transmission . It runs on regular gas and gets 30/32 MPG .
Presently all body features of the car that are modified can be returned to STOCK with very little effort except for the front hood holes and the console in the cockpit.
As the car was rebuilt the electrical system was re-grounded and upgrade, new high torque starter, new key switc, all bulbs replaced (some LED), flashe, alternator . Every thing on this car works, reverse lights, side marker, flip up lights, wipers and all.
I travel to shows around northeast Ohio during the summer so my focus was to have the car perform well on the freeways so i can get there quick. X 1/9 cars are Italian exotic vehicles that will get to 85/ 90 mph if pushed they are NOT ferrarri speeds.
The chassis and suspension are in good shape with 14" period rims. Tires are what you prefer so I run 175/65 front and 185/65 rear. this car will travel smoothly on the road at any speed. Presently brakes are new
Generally its a great looking car with dozens of custom features i did not mention.
There are parts I am still looking for and i think the worst part of the car is the pain, I am not a great painter A good body man could do this car some good. Its presentable to the eye with no rust.
I have given a brief outline as to the condition of the car, There are a ton of part, book, receipts as you would expect going with it. I am the sole owner of the car selling it on my behalf with no encumbrances.
I would also consider driving the car to your location for a cash price upon delivery. This depends on how far i would need to drive, I may decline. I also have a towbar for the car if you choose to pull it. Any other arrangements for shipping are made by you at your expense.
CONTACT with me ANY question you may have. Ciao and thanks for looking!
