The car is in immaculate condition; it looks greats. runs well. and is an awesome driver. We have put thought into our asking price and are not to trying to speculate or drive the price even higher on this extremely hot market. We feel as if the asking price is very fair and priced below what other dealers would ask. This Ferrari is priced to sell. The car is finished in the iconic Red with tan leather interior. This 308 GTS QV is very rare and one of only 733 cars for 1985 according to the 308 Quattrovalvole registry. The books and tools are included with the car. Pictured below one can view the original Owners Manual. Warranty Book. and Sales and Service book all in the original leather booklet. Also pictured below is the factory jack and tool set with Ferrari work light. lug wench. bulbs. pliers. screwdrivers. and wrenches with "Ferrari" cast into them. On March 18. 2015. just over a month ago. this car was serviced by Daytona Auto in Toronto including the timing belt service. Daytona Auto is a very experienced shop that is well thought of and well known in the Ferrari community. The receipt for this work is included with the car and pictured below along with extensive service records from the car's past dating back to 1990. The extensive service history also helps to verify the low original mileage as most receipts have mileage readings for the car at the time that are all chronologically correct. There are receipts for over $15. 00 from the previous owner for maintenance and work completed on the car since 2001. The low original mileage is confirm not only by the condition of the car and the service records. but also the clear Ohio title. picture below. which states the mileage as "Actual. " Please peruse all of the photos. the extensive video that includes a test drive. and other information below to get a true sense of how clean this Ferrari really is. We purchased this beautiful 308 from a gentleman in Hamilton. ON. who had owned the car for about 15 years. After a trip up to see the car in person we went through the process of having the car imported into the Untied States. The car now has a clear. normal. and totally transferable Ohio title that is pictured below. Honestly. since the car was over 25 years old the import process was not that difficult and went very smooth and quick. Included with this eBay ad is an Autocheck report that is completely clear with the a very high above average score that also shows the mileage as actual. Click here to view the Autocheck report. As a side note. this Ferrari is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics and exotics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the 308. just give us a call. condition Exterior The Red exterior is in magnificent condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has dazzling gloss. deep shine. and smooth glass-like finish. All of the exterior lights and lenses are crisp. not foggy. and in excellent condition. The low front end and area under the front spoiler. which is very prone to scraps and damage. looks great as one can see in the specific photos of the area below. The 16" wheels are in great condition with a beautiful finish. The tires appear to have about 90% tread left. All of the windows appear to be original with the correct logo on each piece of glass. There are some very small rock chips down low that have been touched up and other very faint blemishes. but nothing that is really noticeable from a couple feet away. I encourage anyone looking to inspect the many underside photos to see how truly clean the car is. The original black cover for the targa top that clips in behind the seats is included with the car and pictured below. This Ferrari looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. Interior The Tan leather interior in this 308 looks utterly splendid and nearly factory new. The seats look just as good in person as they do in the photos; they are not faded in any area. have no seam splits or stress cracks. and show hardly any wear at all. The carpet is also in terrific condition with no major stains. rips. or holes. The original dash and components look amazing with no cracks. splits. or sun fading. The gauge faces still look crisp and the lenses are crystal clear and not scratched up. The door panels look excellent with no cracks or splits. The headliner is in great shape with no excessive wear or stains. The material around the rear window. which is notoriously fragile and prone to damage. is in good overall condition on this car and there are specific photos of the area below. Both seat belts operate correctly and retract properly. which is a small detail many buyers do not think to check. There is no aroma of cigarettes what-so-ever. These 308 interiors are not known to wear well and the excellent condition of this interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life. The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. Mechanical This Ferrari is in nice mechanical condition and was recently serviced. The car drives great; it feels good the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph. shifting through all the gears. braking to stoplight. and going through some curves. Please note that it shifts well. there are no strange noises or vibrations. and the car performs great overall. On the receipt from March 18. 2015 when the timing belt service was completed it states. "Running fine at this time. " The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well and does not pop out of gear. The shift from first to second is smooth and easy with no issues. which is a common problem on 308's. The clutch feels good. This 308 has plenty of power and is quite fast. especially being a Quattrovalvole. Also. the engine compartment is beautifully clean and detailed as one can see in the photos. As stated above the timing belt service was completed in March on this year. A new fuse box was also installed at that time. which is a very common problem on 1980's Ferrari's so it is very good that this has already been addressed. This 308 is an original Canadian car that has resided around Toronto until we purchased it this year. To the best of my knowledge the only difference between the US and Canadian spec cars is the speedometer and odometer. which are both in kilometers. The lights. emissions. and everything else on the car is the same as a 308 sold new in the US and in many places. including the VIN breakdown and registries. this car is referred to as "US Spec;" even the original Owners Manual has printed on the front "U. S. Version. " Everything on this car works. the a/c blows cold. the a/c fan works on all speeds. the heater fan works on both speeds and the dash light for that fan also illuminates properly. The horn works as do all of the gauges work including the clock. wipers. washers. power windows. radio. power antenna. indicators. and rear defroster along with its corresponding light on the dash. Many of these functions can been observed working properly in the video below. Both headlights flip up with no effort or binding as on can see in the video below and all of the exterior lights work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car. Overall Condition Overall. this 1985 Ferrari 308 GTSqv is in spectacular condition. The market on these car is absolutely red hot right now and this car is by far one of the best and most premium examples available right now. The 308 and 328 are. and will continue to be. some the most collectable and desirable Ferraris to own because of their great drivability. comparative ease of maintenance. and simply operation and repair. The 1985 model year is definitely the most sought after injected model for the 308 and probably the most desirable of all of the steel cars. 308's from 1985 will draw a premium over their earlier injected counterparts. The value of these cars has gone up in recent years and continues to rise. They are all solid investments for a collector. The rarity (1 of 733 for the entire world production). highly desirable color combination. and the great level of quality. low miles. service history. and recent service make this car especially valuable and difficult to duplicate. As I said. we are not trying to drive the market even higher with the sale of this car. We feel as if we are looking for a very fair price in line with the current market and that this is an outstanding car for the money. As stated above. this car is originally from Canada we imported it into the US. We have a standard. clear. and transferable title to the car. pictured below. Please check with your state to make sure there are no registration issues being a Canadian spec car before making and offer. This Ferrari always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price in the year to come with minimal effort.
