Car description

More pictures at https://www. flickr. com/photos/36142667@N06/ . If you want any additional pictures or videos. let me know and I will send them to you. For sale is a 1986 Ferrari 328 GTS US Spec. These cars are quickly going up in value and I'm only selling it because I recently bought a 355F1 and starting to get too many vehicles in the collection (Porsche 356. AC Cobra. Jeep Wrangler. Land Rover. 3 Classic British motorcycles. Ducati). Always stored indoor in my warehouse with the rest of my colletion. The 328 is located in New Orleans and is available for inspection prior to the auction close. It is Classic Rosso Corsa Red with Tan interior. It is powered by a 3. 2L V8 engine. It has 89. 44 miles on it (subject to increase slightly as I still drive it). Since I have owned the 328 I have always taken great care of it. I always drive it with great care and it has never been driven hard in my ownership. 328s are known for being the most reliable Ferraris and one of the most beautiful designs of any car. If you have any questions free to ask and I will respond Condition of the interior: The interior is in good condition for a vehicle of this age. The driver’s seat has some wear (no holes) on the bolster. I have another driver's seat that I purchased with the intention of swapping out the leather. but never got around to it since the seat that is in there is not bad. The seat will come with the car if you want it. Passenger’s seat is in excellent overall condition. The carpets are in good condition also. This is a non-smoker car. The dash is free of any cracks. The steering wheel isn’t cracked and the leather is still nice. The targa top headliner is nice and is the original tweed type material. All gauge crystals are nice and the center console is in good condition. Glass is all in good condition and free of cracks. Condition of the exterior: The paint has great shine and looks great. Exhaust cover is in excellent condition. It has a clear bra on the front of the car which I believe was made by 3M. Mechanics of the car: The turn signals. CD player. parking lights. power door locks work properly. Both headlamps go up and down with no problems. The low beams and brights work perfectly. The windows are slow which is typical of a Ferrari of this vintage. The The speedometer is stuck at 140 MPH. The odometer works perfectly it is in the gauge itself and not the sending unit from what I can tell. The tires are in excellent condition with at least 50% tread life left. The wheels are in excellent condition with no noticeable curb rash. Both bonnets open and close properly. The CD player is an Alpine detachable face. It always starts right up and drives great. Transmission shifts perfectly through all of the gears. Engine runs very smooth and has plenty of power. It drives straight going down the road. It doesn’t pull to either side and brakes smoothly without pulling. The engine makes a beautiful sound. It revs freely and the steering is tight and true. The suspension is firm and doesn’t make any strange noises. Some of the recent service work done are as follows: It has had all of the fluids changed. including oil and filter (Baldwin oil filters used in my ownership). coolant flush including replacement of radiator fan switch. various coolant hoses. tranny fluid changed and replaced with Redline Syn. Gear Oil. Brake fluid flushed. Timing belts and bearings replaced in 2012. New plugs (NGKs). new spark plug extenders. distributor cap contacts cleaned. rotor cleaned all in excellent condition. water pump and alternator belt replaced. CIS fuel injection pressures checked. air filter replaced. timing belts and tensioner bearings replaced and cam timing set. fuel pump check valve replaced. emergency brake adjusted and works great. both headlamp buckets adjusted and come up to proper height. extra grounds on Dinoplex. new throttle cable. Water pump replaced in 2006. nbsp; Radiator fan replaced with high speed modern fan. Radiator rebuilt in 2006. A/C compressor went out in 2007 and hasn't been replaced. Brackets included but needs new compressor. A/C system at the time was completely free of leaks and worked great. Brakes are in excellent condition. All parts were purchased from T. Rutlands. Ricambi or Ferr Parts. Overall it is a great running and driving 328. The goal is to reduce the cars in the collection. but there are a few vehicles that I have a soft-spot for. I will consider trades/trades+cash for Land Rover Defenders. Gen 1 Ford Broncos. Detomaso Panteras. C1 Corvettes. maybe others - let me know what you have. No projects or trash. I reserve the right to end the auction early as it also available for sale locally. I have a clear Louisiana title with no lien.
