1958 Edsel Pacer 2dht, a desirable RRB code car up for sale. This color combo was only offered on the Ranger and Pacer series and are quite rear to obtain. This example has enjoyed its life on the high plains of Idaho in a dry Western environment. Solid body, floors and trunk. You'll find a rust spot behind each rear wheel, but that's the extent of it. This vehicle received a restoration in the late 80's with a paint job, engine and transmission rebuild and interior upholstery. Mechanically superb and runs and drives perfect with brand new tires I put on last year. Drive anywhere as this is definitely a driver that enjoys being on the road. It has the Teletouch push button automatic transmission in the center of the steering wheel, and it works perfect. Everything works as it should including the clock!!!, so no hidden surprises. There is a crack in the windshield (same as a '57-'58 Fairlane so replacement is available) and some minor irregularities on top of the front fenders (not very noticeable) due to a previous owner storing some 2x4's on top of it in the garage. Having said that, this car is beautiful although not perfect. To me the car is too nice to mess with, so I've enjoyed it as is and I'm sure the next owner would agree.
