68 Corvette Convertible with 4 speed manual transmission in great condition

You are looking at a first yearChevrolet C3 Convertible in Safari-Yellow with black interior and blacksofttop.One of only 18,600 Roadsters builtin 68. This American sportscar icon has no options detracting from itslooks or performance. A small block Chevy V8 with a 4 speed manual transmissionand manual steering provides pure driving enjoyment in its most basic andentertaining form. The Vette is located in Phoenix Arizona,but it was sold new at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet in Rockford, IL. Per the previous owner the car was utilized as a summer vehiclethroughout the Midwest before relocating to Mesa AZ. At some point during it’s lifetime the Vette has beenrepainted and also seems to have had some fiberglass repair in front and back. The car looks great and shows well, it is not a show-car,but more than just a driver vehicle. It will fire up instantly and as you put it through thepaces, the sound and road feel are just incredibly enjoyable. Transmission shifts well, clutch is good, manual brakes workas they should. New mufflers were just installed. Headlights, windshield wipers andthe cover work. Top and interior are in good shape.
