1968 Corvette in fantastic condition, please read the entire ad as I will note more issues than most auction, as I would rather have our buyer be impressed as opposed to disappointed.
This vehicle belongs to a friend of our business and we are representing this vehicle for him as we have many of his other toys and classic cars.When we assisted this gentleman in acquiring this vehicle roughly three years ago we looked at several Corvettes throughout the state of Texas and passed on many that had frame rot,shoddyrepairs, lots of bondo, and fiberglass work, oil leaks and or too much mechanical work to contend with before coming across this beauty. Our company has bought and sold every single Corvette year from 1966 - 2010 and some models 15 to 20 times over.Again we are excited about this Corvette as it is not your average 1968 but rather a much better example than most. As you may know Corvettes can hide a lot of extra work, this one is notindicativeof that type of car, everything has beenaddressedor was neverdamagedto begin with.We also have a walk around, running video upon request



BODY/PAINTThe paint is in fantastic condition, it does however have some rock chips and normal chips expected with a classic however nothing that takes away from the vehicle and the shine is glossy and illustrious as more than most and is quite noted immediately, again this is not a pristine, perfect, museumquality but it is absolutely beautiful in what you would see with most Corvettes of this vintage.
Frame / Undercarriage:Absolutely no frame rot, prior collisions or repairs to the frame whatsoever. Again NO rust or heavy or heavy oxidation as we're used to seeing on these older Corvettes.
Suspension:Suspension is true and solid, there is nothing to contend with here it is as it should be.
Wheels / Tires:Tires do not have dry rot, wheels are correct for this year and are painted with the correct bright work. The tires were purchased brand new about a year ago and may only have 20 miles on them.
Convertible Top:
Convertible top is vinyland is in excellent condition, there are absolutelyno leaks
Interior:
Interior is correct with only minimal wear, please use pictures to denote the wonderful quality of this interior. The carpet, vinyl, door panelsare all in very good shape as to be expected, please use our pictures to denote the good quality of this interior.
Engine / Transmission:
Hugger orange block and chrome, presents fantastic,. The enginestarts on a dime and has a glorious growl to it to excite your senses. This motor was rebuilt approximately3 and a half years ago before the purchase of the vehicle and has maybe 2700 miles on it, again everything you could hope for in this 327. It has recently had a new exhaust, new fuel tank and new fuel lines installed. It is not numbers matching but certainly more desirable than the 350 one often sees in this unit. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic, and shifts exactly at the points it is supposed to. Very smooth
