Car description

1992 Chevy C1500 454 SS truck. 7.4L V8 454 big block engine, 4L80E automatic transmission. 87k original miles. Black exterior, with maroon interior. Power windows, power locks, cruise control, A/C, tilt steering column, bucket seats with center console, ABS brakes, etc. The engine fires right up, and runs healthy. No leaks, no abnormal noises, etc. I was told the transmission has been rebuilt, but there is no paperwork to support this. I can tell you it shifts just a little firmer than factory, and has no hesitation what so ever-it feels very strong. I bought this truck from the widow of the original owner, who I was told used it solely to tow his small bass boat to the lake close to their home. After I bought it, I took it straight to the shop and had it gone through. All the steering parts were replaced; the front brake pads, rotors, calipers, hoses, wheel bearings, etc were all replaced; the engine and transmission fluids and filters were replaced; and the wiper motor was replaced. All parts used were factory, or factory equivalent in quality. The battery and starter were replaced right before I bought it. I also had true dual Flowmaster exhaust installed from the manifolds backso the big block could breathe better! The note it gives off is a huge improvement too. The front bumper was replaced with a smoothie style. The rear bumper was replaced with a 90's style roll pan. We also installed new LED tail lights. The paint was fully buffed out, and then polished with a poly coating applied (like wax but much stronger). The paint has small scratches and a couple small dings, but no rust on the body-I was told the truck was not driven in winter by the original owner, and I have never had it out in the snow or salt. The original owner was a smoker, and even though there is no smoke smell inside, there are a few burn marks on the seat and carpet. I would rate this truck a very nice driver-it is not perfect, but in very good shape inside and out. It still retains its factory 15" chrome wheels, with 275 tires that have a good amount of tread left. The A/C does not work, and I have not looked into the cause yet. The radio also does not power on. These are the only mechanicalproblems I know of with this truck. Thepaint on the hoodhas tree sap deposits that were still present after buffing, as well as scratches onboth bedsides and tail gate-see pictures.I have also included pictures of the burn marks on driver seat, floorcarpet, and 1 on the door panel.I do have all the original parts except theexhaust system. An original SS truck is getting harder and harder to find, especially one that hasn't been heavily modified. Asking price is $12,900 OBO. Clean and clear title in hand.Truck is storedin Vandalia, OH 45377, about 5 minutes away from DaytonInternational Airport. Will assist withpick up or pick up however I can.Serious buyers only please. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and thanks for looking.
