Car description

1957 Chevrolet 150/210 Bel Air. Good running rebuilt 396 cu. in. big block engine 4-barrel carb. four speed manual transmission. It has a fuel cell mounted in the trunk. 15'' Crager wheels and Goodyear Eagles St tires fit this car excellent and look great. The car has the original style braking, no power steering.

I believe this car was a 4-door car, that the back doors have been welded in and the has been smoothed out with some filler. However, the title shows it as a 2 door vin number B57F107825.The car was painted black with big metal flake. The hood hinges bent, and the hood would not shut property, so I took the hinges off. The car needs new hood hinges or four hood pins. The doors open and shut, windows all go up and down well. Floorboard is rusty and soft on the driver side. High bucket seats in front that fold forward for access for the original rear seat. The front and rear bumpers along with grill look like new. I had a new tinted windshield installed as they installed it cracked from the top to the bottom straight down at the curve on passenger side, driver door glass has a crack. This 1957 Chevrolet 150/210 Bel Air has a rebuilt good running rebuilt 396 cu. in. big block engine 4-barrel carb. four speed manual transmission. It has a fuel cell mounted in the trunk. 15'' Crager wheels and Goodyear Eagles St tires fit this car excellent. The car has the original style braking, no power steering.

Most people that look at this car does not realize it was a for door, some people that know 57 Chevrolet can't quite figure it out, but then they realize the back window different they think it's a special built. The majority people think it an original two door car When people look at the car, I ask them if they notice any thin different about it very few know something different, they normally can tell by the rear window. the majority when I tell them it was a four-door car, they half to really look it over to see if they want to believe me or not.The mirrors and side pipes the chrome Crager wheels and customized hood may be what disguises that it a 6'' longer behind the front doors. I am 6' tall and I like how easy it is to get in and out of. you're a tall guy they're the extra 6'' of room that the seat brackets could be moved back.

This car is not a show queen is rusty underneath I think it shouldbe painted with Por 15 black paint it would look good underneath, has bondo filler to make it smooth, some has come off where you can see where it was painted flat black this gives the car a unique good look. It solid it good enough it could be fixed up to a very nice car if wanted. It a 1957 Chevrolet 150/210 Bel Air that runs and drives good. It sounds great and gets a lot of attention people really like the car. This car is a lot of fun to drive and you do not half to be worried about driving it.

This auction has a low starting price with no reserve which is very low for a 1957 Chevy.
