Car description

1970 Chevrolet Nova Pro Street
This nova is rock solid top to bottom. I have a stack of receipts and build sheets that come with the car. The car had all of its chassis work, full cage, 78 mustang 2 rack and pinion (manual steering.), Ford 9" 4:11 gear, Moser axles, and wheelie bars all done by Martz chassis in Bedford PA. They also installed the fuel cell, and the Wilwood 4 wheel disk brakes (manual brakes.)
Engine

509 cu in. Merlin 3 block 4 bolt main 4.5 inch bore, Lunati crankshaft 4.000 stroke, JE/SRP pistons, Speed pro 5 piston rings, Eagle 6.135 H-beam rods, Canton 7qt oil pan, Melling oil pump, Clevite rod and main bearings, double roller timing chain, Lunati solid roller cam (lift/duration @ .689 in. .687 Ex. 303 in. 308 ex.), Bam products roller lifters, 1.7 Comp cams roller rocker arms, Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads (2.300 Intake, 1.88 Exhaust valves.), K-motion valve springs, Dart stud girdle, SFI external balance flex plate, SFI external balance damper, MSD pro billet distributor, Dart aluminum intake and Dominator 1050 Carb. Nitrous Express direct port (nozzle system). The intake was shipped to NX in Texas and had the drilling, installation and plumbing of the nozzles done. The engine was rebuilt in 2014 and has not seen the track or sprayed since.

I am 6'8" and had to move the seat back to be comfortable in the car. I had a local stock car chassis builder reconfigure the rear bar that goes between the main hoop to allow me to move the seat back. I removed the driver side slide bracket to lower the seat. I do have the slide bracket that can be bolted back in very easily so the seat can slide forward. I also had him cut the door bar and weld in a swing out kit (drivers side only.) I installed brand new black carpet, Carabu seats, and G-Force racing harness. The dash is full of Autometer gauges and the speedometer is very accurate. The car is laser straight no imperfections in the metal or bondo anywhere. The paint is excellent condition, there are two small paint chips, one on the edge of the drivers door and one on the edge of the truck lid. This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right remove this ad unless a qualifying bid has been made. I do encourage you to come and look at the vehicle or send an inspector as the vehicle is being sold in "AS IS" condition with no warranty. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. I am a very busy person with work and family so only serious inquires please. I will respond to any questions as soon as I am able.
