Car description

*Classic Storage find for sale*Very early 1969 Chevy Impala sedan with one of the last 327's for that model. Has been in storage for over 10 years. THE GOOD:Strong engine and transmission. Runs great. (The brake pedal sticks just enough that you have to toe it back up). The heater blower. windshield wipers. speedometer. guages. headlights and tail lights all work. Would be an excellent turn key project for anyone. Dash looks fine. no cracks. all original equipment. Floor pans seem fine (did not pull up carpet). Trunk is in excellent shape. Chrome bumpers in great shape. Brand new reconditioned battery: one year warranty. New ignition keyed. THE BAD:Front drivers side fender around wheel well has crinkly dents on chrome rim as well. No chrome on passenger fender. Very minor rust. mostly in the scratches on hood. roof and trunk lid. And where paint has chipped here and there. Some wires hanging down from under dash that need to be addressed. The radio and dash lights do not power on (could be fuses or those wires hanging down. Windshield seal leaks water into the car. This has caused the front carpet to mildew and needs replaced/fixed. Front upholstery is worn and has rips in drivers seat area. Drivers window crank handle fell off but is there. Front plastic shroud around drivers side headlight is broken. Pieces are in the trunk. Tires are holding air fine but are very old. Suggest replacing before going on a long trip~Have to keep battery disconnected when not in use. something is slowly draining it. Prefer local pickup and cash onlyAny shipping would have to be taken care of by you in both setting it up and paying for it.
