Car description

I have a very decent 1980 Chevy 1/2 ton short box 2 wheel drive. Pickup has had a frame-off rebuild. They weren't going for a show truck, they were building a very dependable driver. Has a 1992 Style 350 V8 throttle body injection engine. Just turn the key and it starts. I've had the pickup about 3 years. My understanding was the guy that built the pickup ended up with a back injury right when it was finished. When I started driving the pickup I thought the 700R4 trans was shifting poorly. I had the trans rebuilt and it has less then 3000 miles on it since. All the body panels have been replaced. New fenders, new doors, new box sides, new tailgate, new radiator support, new inner fender wells. Cab is an air cab that is very solid. I don't see any rust on it. Underside of cab is clean. Dash has a new cover, new seat cover, new headliner. Radio is not working and cruise isn't hooked up. Has a 92 style steering column and wheel. Pickup is wired like a 92. Has a cover on the box. There is aprox $1,200 worth of new air conditioning parts under the hood. Air does blow cold. Also new alternator, new Radiator, new booster for brakes and master cylinder. Brakes were gone through when built. New shocks, new dual exhaust, new headers. Has real 15X8 ralley wheels that were painted, also got new centers and Beauty rings at the time. Front tires are new and back tires have about 3000 miles on them. Has a cowl induction hood that has pro paint on it. I think that covers most of what's been done to the pickup. There's been a lot of money invested in the build. There is no rust except for minor surface rust. I don't think you will even find any bubbles in the paint. Like I said don't expect a perfect pickup. What you will be buying is a very dependable pickup that should be a dependable driver. I've drove it about 3000 miles since I've had it. Draws attention whenever I put gas in it. I get thumbs up all the time. Have a clear title in our name. Pickup will be in our garage 50 miles from location on eBay. It can be picked up there. Zipcode is 56650 for pickup location. Please ask questions. Enjoy bidding and Thanks for looking at our auction:
