Car description

There are certainly a lot of good looking 55 through 57 Chevy's out there, but come on this thing is really got to look. How could you not turn your head to check it out. The colors are outstanding, the lowered stance is great. This was born a real V-8 Bel Air hardtop. Obviously it's been restored and upgraded, there is a pile of receipts. EXTERIOR: The paint has a very smooth glossy finish. I'm looking down the sides- the... fenders, doors, quarter panels are straight. I don't see any signs of rust bubbles or cracking. The paint is buffed out like glass. The colors make the car. The chrome and trim are great. Upfront the bumper, bumper guards, trim around the grill, headlight bezels, hood ornament, emblems are new. The stainless trim on the sides and all around the glass is shiny and straight. In back the bumper is rechromed and there are some big fat cool looking exhaust tips sticking out. The door jambs are painted nice, has new weather strips and sill plates. Door shuts really well. The windshield has been replaced and new gasket. The combination of the big Boss chrome wheels and 2 inch lowered suspension look great together. INTERIOR: Custom made yellow and white upholstery on the seats and side panels. Correct perforated headliner and visors. The dash is exceptionally sharp looking. It is painted the bright yellow with the Billet aluminum trim and a really nice custom gauge cluster. It is a full set of gauges by Classic Instruments including a tachometer. The steering wheel looks stock but it's actually a little bit smaller which makes it easier to get in and out of the car. Glove box liner is new and the light even works! Looking through the receipts I noticed there is a lot more replaced than meets the eye. Heater controls, vent cables, underdash wire harness, firewall insulation, even the rubber bumpers on the ashtray. Window cranks are new. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's real nice looking under the hood. It has a correct 265 motor with some upgrades- Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke and MSD ignition. It is dressed up a nice set of aluminum valve covers and a chrome air cleaner lid. The components look good too. Has power steering. New cadium plated booster, master, junction block and brake lines. Upgraded electric wiper system. Converted to an alternator from a generator. Has a real nice polished aluminum radiator and overflow bottle. It uses the stock fan and auxiliary electric fan. The horns are new. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is boxed in and upholstered to match the interior. There is some storage behind the rear panel. UNDERSIDE: Upfront it is completely new and upgraded. Has tubular control arms, new ball joints bushings etc. Upgraded sway bar. Upgraded to disc brakes. Bottom of motor is still new looking. In back it has new sway bar, shocks and fuel tank. There are new fuel and brake lines, e-brake is hooked up. Has powerglide automatic trans, u-joints look recent. New dual exhaust system. If you like compliments this car will make you very happy!
