Things you need to know:

1. Rocker panels onboth sides of the truck are rusted out and need to be replaced (seephotos)

2. A tree limb fell on the roof and there is a dent (see photo)

3. There isbondo on the right rear fender which is starting to pull free (see photo)

4. The transfer case fills up with transmission fluid and there is a leak underneath. I am hoping the transfer case needs a new seal and that is all, but am not sure. The transmission has been rebuilt.

5. The hood sticks and needs to be pried up to release.

6. The engine has been replaced some time before I bought it. The odometer quit working a couple years ago. The engine has always run very well, does not use oil and does not smoke.

7. I drove this truck on gravel roads for 6 years and used it as an actual working pickup, so there are lots of dings and scratches, etc. It was not in agarage and it sat outside through 7 years of Iowa winters and summers.

But

It is a solid pickup. I believe the truck wasoriginally fromArizona and there is very little to no rust underneath. Obviously there is work that needs to be done, and this is a vehicle that is almost 50 years old.

If you're looking for a 4X4 Chevypickup that is in good solid condition, this is the truck for you.
