CMC is pleased to present this Documented 1972 Corvette LT-1. One of only 1741 LT-1 Stingrays built in 1972. In 1972 the LT-1 is documented by the letter "L" in the vin number. its born with all numbers matching drivetrain, and retaining is completely original leather interior, this Factory Code 973 Mille Miglia Red LT1 is not to be missed.

This car was ordered with the following options: LT-1 High Performance solid lifter cam 350 engine, M-21 close ratio transmission, positraction rear end, Power Steering, Deluxe leather black interior, WIde Oval raised white letter tires, rally wheels, special suspension, Am FM radio, floor mats,tinted glass.

1972 marked the end of a great era for the Stingray. This was the last year for the coveted LT-1 engine, last year for front and rear chrome bumpers, and last year for the removable rear window in the coupes.

Our LT-1 is extremely original and was restored as needed. The car has a complete damage free body with original fiberglass. The car was repainted in the original color code 973 Mille Miglia Red. The body gaps and lines are all remarkable. The car retains the original glass. The complete drivetrain is numbers matching and they original for the car. The interior of the car is completely original and is in outstanding condition. The original leather seats are supple and smooth. The original door panels look great. The wood accent are clean and crisp. This car is such outstanding condition that it would be a very hard car to replace.

This original LT-1 was previously owned by Edward Cooley. He held ownership for 24 years. The car has been garage kept and very well maintained.

Documentation includes the Owners manual, Dealer Jacket, and color sales brochure.

The car runs and drives flawlessly. The LT1 engine has all correct components and has the correct LT1 high lift cam sound. The transmission shifts into all gears effortlessly. The clutch is smooth. The front end feel very crisp and tight. The brakes stop very well with 4 wheel disc brakes all around. You will be very impressed with the overall condition and integrity of this LT1.
