Car description

I have a 1969 Camaro Z28 Rally sport for sale that has had an extensive frame off restoration done. I started with a nice body that had all GM sheet metal but unfortunately was cut up to be dragged raced. The outer metal on the car was really untouched other then the rear quarter lips were bent up for tire clearance but are now back where they are supposed to be. The Gentleman that I had purchased it off of was 6' 6" tall and was installing a roll cage into the car that would work for his height and had started cutting the floors out and the trunk pan for a fuel cell too. Instead of trying to piece it back together I removed the floor and trunk pan and installed 1 piece units in there place. there is no patches everything is brand new other the frame rails are original. I took the front frame apart and blasted everything and had some powder coating done on the front suspension and applied urethane to the front frame and control arms. The car has front disc brakes from the factory being a Z28 and also the 12 bolt rear end with 4:10 gears and frame connectors. I painted the whole underside of the car with Por 15 semi gloss black and has all new suspension. shocks. stainless lines. fuel injected gas tank with fuel pump inside. full dual exhaust with flow master mufflers and full tail pipes. I wanted to give this car a stock appearance other then the 70's look centerlines but have modern technology under the hood. I installed a brand new LS1 engine from GM with zero miles and Z06 heads. backed by a Tremec 6 speed transmission with zero miles also. I kept the inside stock with the factory 6000 redline tach and console gauges. When you look inside it will look like it did in 1969 other then the 6 speed gear shift knob that has the 6 speed pattern on it. The interior is not completed yet and will need the new seat covers installed and the new carpet installed. I do have the parts they just have to be installed. The car also has a factory tilt steering column in it which is a vey nice option. My goal was to install vintage air since Z28's were not available with factory air. The car has a new vinyl top installed and the paint was applied last year and is DuPont base clear GM bright red with black stripes. The car has been a project of mine for about 5 years and is only for sale because I found another car that I have bought. If it does not sell I will complete putting the interior together and a few trim parts and then sell it for more. Now remember this engine and transmission are brand new and not junk yard pieces taken from cars that have been run hard. they have not even been run on the street yet other then pulling it in and out of my building. The wiring and the computer are installed and have the ability to hook up air conditioning in the future if so desired. I also installed a correct after market aluminum radiator for the LS engine conversion in a 69 Camaro along with the engine mounts and even an after market cross member for the 6 speed transmission. This car will be running 400 plus hp and should get 25 mpg. The car will be a lot of fun to drive around the city with the 4:10 gears and will run about 1700 rpm on the highway in 6th gear so you will have the best of both worlds for city fun and highway cruising. The car has new chrome bumpers. weather strip etc. All exterior body panels on this car are all original GM including factory cowl hood. fenders. doors. quarters. deck lid etc. The car is kind of rare also being an early Z28 the color was butter nut yellow which was not available on later cars in 69. The car has a clear title also and can be shipped to the USA or Canada or world wide I will help how ever I can. Ask any questions before you bid thanks and happy bidding.
