Car description

1988 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible has only 63000 miles.

The body color is Nassau Blue exterior with blue leather interior. The car and body is all original, never has been damaged. Kept in the garage all the time and even under a car cover. Exterior appearance package is the Greenwood option. I've learned this was the only aftermarket option approved by GM in the day. It includes the lower body sill aerodynamics from front to back and a small rear wing on the rear deck. We believe it has had this option since new car delivery. Originally from Texas I'm told. The car also has always been babied. A nice canvas car cover is included also. Engine is the L-98 350 cubic inch Tuned Port Injection V-8, making 245 h p. and 340 ft. lbs. of torque. Yielding a 9.5 to 1 Compression ratio. Car is equipped with automatic transmission and power steering, brakes, windows and seats. It also has air conditioning and tinted glass. Twin 6 way power seats. 2.73 rear axle ratio and sport suspension option. New items include recent B. F. Goodrich G-Force Compound tires, a new battery and alternator. The brakes feel solid too. It drives and accelerates with no hesitation like you would from a 35 year old car. Sound is wonderful. Steering, brakes, and handling are precise and confident. In the days in my garage there has not been a drop on the floor from it. The AM FM Radio is CD and cassette tape also and sounds great too. I might mention the black covering the front half of the inside door sills are plastic covers to protect the carpeting. And these may be easily removed if desired. It should be noted that this is an estate sale for a friend. She lost her husband recently and I've offered to manage this sale. They moved here from Colorado just a few years ago and this was the husbands pride and joy. I believe they were not the original owners of the car. I have done a search for any repair problems this car has had and come up clean. You are welcome to search Carfax and/or contact me with questions and I will answer them as fast as I can.

There is a reasonable reserve figure. Which will be disclosed after it is reached. Don't ask me for it.

Winning bidder is expected to provide a deposit of an agreed percentage of final value within 48 hours.

The balance is due upon delivery within a reasonable time period. We are not equipped to ship the car, but will work with the buyer as much as possible to assist.
