Selling my beautiful fuel injected 1978 K10 4x4 Chevy. First off yes the rear window on the passenger side is plexi glass but the new glass piece will be installed this week. Im just gonna do a basic rundown on the highlights of the truck since a detailed list would be far too much to type. I do have a newly rebuilt automatic th350 transmission that I could put in instead of the manual and if you want A/C in the truck that is possible. Call to discuss as they are not included in the auction price.
Built 350 engine with a mild cam and Edelbrock intake manifoldSM465 manual trans w/ nearly new clutchNp205 transfer caseFiTech fuel injection system Runs AMAZING!!Doug Thorley Stainless Steel headers with dual FlowmastersPower brakes w/ front discsPower steering w/ tilt wheelNew two tone Black & White paintNew exterior molding upper and lowerNew rear cab moldingNew fender moldingNew grill insert and Chevy Bowtie emblemNew corner markers in frontNew tail lightsNew side view mirrorsNew chrome front bumperNewly reupholstered seatNew premium carpet kitNew weather stripping in doors and new sill platesNew hood hingesNew spray on bedlinerOriginal Rally wheels and beauty ringsOriginal grill surroundOriginal fender emblems refinishedSony Door speakersPioneer Bluetooth multimedia car stereoMuch much more........
The truck is very quick and sounds great. It drives straight, currently on 31" tires but it can fit 33". There's about 25% tread left. I'm a restoration tech, mechanic, so when I started building the truck I chose to replace both front floor pans and the passenger side rocker rather than just patch them. All the rust I found was cut out and the metal repaired. I also applied all new rubberized coatings inside on the floors for both anti-corrosion and sound deadening. The FiTech fuel injection runs absolutely great. Every customer Ive installed one of these systems for loves them. Starts like a new truck, better fuel mileage, better power and you never have to worry about your wife or kid flooding it and getting stranded somewhere! The system is fully self tuning so there is no need for you to make any adjustments. Just get in and go anywhere! The heads up display provides real time Air fuel readings, RPM and more on the screen. It also displays diagnostic data in the event that a part needs replacing in the system making it easy for anyone to work on.
Finally while the truck is beautiful, runs and drives better than it did new and has more money in it than I care to think about but it is not absolutely perfect. There's a couple very small dings, the drivers side door isn't perfectly lined up with the cab trim, the interior dash trim panel has some chips and some other small issues I'm sure. With that in mind please look over the pics and feel free to call me with questions or for more pictures. My name is Dave and you can reach me at 775-338-3300 or 541-209-2109. I can help with finding a shipper. Recently I got a quote for shipping a truck to Brooklyn for a little over $1,100.
