OVERVIEW

The item currently for sale is our 1969 Camaro coupe that has been in our family since the early 70's. This is a very clean 1969 Camaro X44 base coupe, V8, 4 speed car, factory vinyltop, with some little 70's customizing done to it a LOOONG time ago. This car comes with a clean State of Florida title. We have other vehicles from our collection we will be listing soon in case this is not the Camaro you are looking for...don't hesitate to ask!

EXTERIOR

The exterior of the vehicle is in excellent condition. I went through the entire car when we pulled it from my father's collector car storage and the body is immaculately preserved under 40 years of burgundy protective catalyst primer used in that era. The header panel, valance and fenders are solid, fenders were properly slotted for 78-81 fender louvers. The core support, wheel wells, firewall and subframe are also in great condition. The body, doors, floors, roof, quarters, rear panel, rear valance and trunk lid are extremely solid and rust free as well. The quarters were flared in fiberglass to accommodatesuper wide rear wheels, they were done really well. The right hand quarter flare was bumped into the edge of the lift and took a little damage on the edge but no big deal. The only rust I see on this car are some pin holes on the trunk floor which in my opinion, can be repaired with no need for trunk pan replacement (see pics). The car also has a really cool fabbed 3 piece spoiler done specifically for this 69's rear body. We have a large spoiler-fused 69 front valance that was also purchased a very long time ago I think will make a GREAT combo with this car (pictures available upon request). We have many parts for this vehicle to assist with the restoration process.

INTERIOR

Interior-wise, there is nothing there! The car's interior is solid...floors, dash frame, rear framing and inner rockers are lazer straight and rust free. This car came equipped with rosewood dash paneling and the original 4 speed shifter slot is untouched. Inner roof still has its original rod style headliner and sunvisors and roof mounted seatbelts installed. This car is an interior code 711 which was standard black which should make it easy to bring back to original condition if needed. We have many interior parts for this vehicle to assist with the restoration process.

DRIVETRAIN

The car comes with a monster 396cid that came out of another one of my father's project cars from the 70's. This motor was pulled from a 64 GTO circa 1978...that is 40 years of rawDetroitmuscle that most likely just needs a refresh to run strong again. The car also comes with manual transmission and a 12 bolt rear.We have many drivetrain parts for this vehicle to assist with the restoration process.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, this is a great project coupe, great bones and great foundation to make a great finished product. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask...we are here to help!

THANKS FOR LOOKING!
