Car description

Beautiful, clean title 1990 ZR-1 Corvette. Priced for a quick sale as we're moving and it needs a new home, now. My father bought this ZR-1 out of Texas and drove it to California, then ran out of space and it was then shipped to me here in NC. He bought the car to better understand the LT-5, as he had a '66 Corvette Coupe and a rolling ZR-1chasis and plans to merge the two. Between his time owning it and mine, we replaced/upgraded: all fuel injectors, both fuel pumps, fuel filter, fresh tires, fluids, rebuilt the stereo system, rebuilt the electric seats, new plugs, wires, battery, A/C converted to R134, Bora cat back exhausts and we have fully enjoyed it.The tires are fresh Nitto N555 Extreme ZR with maybe 2,000 miles on them; 315/35ZR17 on the back and 245/40ZR17 on the front. The car does have a soft cover and both the glass and metal tops. I do not have the full factory maintenance manual nor the window sticker, but the Corvette and ZR-1 owner's manuals are present. The proper wrench forthe tops is present, as is an input for an iPod in the arm rest storage area. I will have the A/C freshly rechargedthis week so it's blowing cold.
It is not perfect however, as there is some paint fade on the side mirrors, the rear valence, fuel door and a spot on the hood. The stereo is a bit wonky despite having new amps put in.The steering column is a bit loose as is common in these cars, previous owners used it to get in and out as it is quite low to the ground.
The only issue, mechanically, is during full power mode it throws a check engine light signifying that the secondary fuel system is not operating properly. There was a small vacuum leak that is now fixed, I then went back in and wired open the secondary throttle butterflies to ensure those were not the issue, but the CEL still comes up under WOT in full power mode. At this point, I do not know what it is. It could be the secondary fuel pump isn't flowing right, if the updated secondary injectors are gummed up or a short somewhere. This is the reason for the low price. Because we are moving across the country and already have three other cars, this one needs a new home and I have run out of time to trouble shoot what is otherwise an amazing car. I have the title in hand and for someone with a little time to troubleshoot, here is a great ZR-1 with low miles and fresh tires. The car does have a soft cover and both the glass and metal tops. I do not have the full factory maintenance manual nor the window sticker, but the Corvette and ZR-1 owner's manuals are present.
Shipping wise: I have used uShip several times to ship cars across the country (including this one), so I am more than happy to work withthe buyer to arrange shipping, or, if you'd prefer, we are located about 90 minutes south of Raleigh,North Carolina.
