1987 chevy silverado short bed. This truck is a beautiful southern survivor. It has a very desired color combo as well as the popular 5. 7 engine and overdrive transmission. This truck will make a nice weekend cruiser or a very cool daily driver. It came equipped with the throttle body fuel injected 350 engine and overdrive transmission. It runs and drives great. It's all original under the hood with the exception of a set of headman headers and a serpentine belt set up. It cranks and runs correctly and has no mechanical issues. It has power steering. power brakes and cold a/c. It has a nice mellow sound to it thanks to the dual exhaust but not too loud. it's nice and quiet in the cab. The truck has a nice solid body with a recent paint job. It was repainted in it's factory black color and it has a nice finish on it. All of the body side molding was replaced with the factory correct Lmc kit. The fender trim is new as well as the rear sport bumper. The front bumper and all other exterior trim is original and in nice shape. It has a hard plastic factory bed liner in it. nbsp;the bed underneath the liner was painted with the rest of the truck but it does not have the same brilliant shine as the outside. The tailgate protector piece will be included with the truck but it was not reinstalled. The red interior features a new seat cover. new headliner. new dash pad (whole pad not a cap). and new door pockets. The door panels are nice and the original carpet is in good shape as well. The door pockets are a little bright due to them being brand new and the door pull straps are new as well but are not available in this color. The power windows and power locks work correctly and it has a rear slider window. The previous owner installed a cd player so the dash has been cut. It does actually work and sound better than the factory ones do. All of the lights. guages and switches work properly with the exception of the cruise control. It does have the much desired tilt column. The dual tanks do work and change over correctly and the guage reads the proper fuel level. The truck rides on a nice set of 15x8 factory rally wheels with 275/60/15 white letter tires. they have 75% or better tread. All around this 87 chevy is a great running and driving truck. It is a lot of fun to drive and gets lots of attention. I have a very modest reserve on the truck and I have confidence that it will sell.
