You are bidding on a fully restored 1968 Chevrolet Pickup Truck! This is one of the most complete and well put together big back window chevy trucks you will find. No detail was ignored on this restoration down to the originaltailgate, grille & fender emblems along with a customKENWOOD CD/AM/FM W/REMOTE #KDC-MP245 Stereo IN THE GLOVE BOX WITH ORIGINAL AM RADIO (NON-FUNCTIONING AT THIS TIME) STILL In the UnCut DASH. * ENGINE *
- Current Mileage says 70,071. The truck was purchased in August of 2008 with 68,500 miles on the odometer. We are assuming there are 170,071 total miles on the truck. The truck was purchased from the original owner and he had replaced the original 327 motor with the 350 crate motor in 1986, 18 years after he bought it new. In the 40 years he owned it, he would have averaged 4200 miles a year at an odometer reading of 168,500. He said he didn'tdrive it much the last 20 years he owned it. I would assume that there were no more than 50k miles on that crate engine and then 80% of it was rebuilt with the specs listed above. * INTERIOR * -The interior paint matches the gorgeous Orange Metallic exterior paint on all the metal hard parts such as the doors and dash panel. the soft parts of the interior were also treated to a no-holds-barred restoration, including fresh custom seat covers on the front bench, new OEM black carpet, new custom door panels, dash pad, arm rests, sun visors, full matching seat belt sets and MORE!The White on Orange custom interior is extremely clean and well done by a local professional upholsteryshop here in the area. Interior & exterior lights work, dash is clean and not cut up, factory dash bezel, custom steering wheel, & OEM steering column. Doors are clean with speakers and all the glass is good and WORKS! Windows go up and down and the rear tailgate functions perfectly with new latches, mirrors, door handles, and trim around the whole truck! * CHASSIS/DRIVETRAIN * - The brakes are new all around (disc front drum rear) including a new power booster & master cylinder from CPP. The 700R4 automatic transmission shifts easily and the chassis is fully detailed and painted, including new shocks front & rear, new ball joints, bushings, springs, and lines! - It's sitting on Brand New 21" wheels and Nexen N7000 - 255/35ZR20 Tires (5 Lug 1/2 C10 Conversion Front & Back) Done the right way! * AIR CONDITIONING * It is the original AC system and setup that was rebuilt in 2009 with LMC parts and has had maybe 2 hours of use since 2009. We cruise with the windows down up here in the PNW during the summer! :)* EXTERIOR * - The truck has all new rubber weather stripping, seals, vent window seals & chrome latches. - Paint - Show Quality - Close - Local Show - YES The paint job is one you have to see in person to appreciate to really do it justice. The sun really brings out the metallic in the paint and the two tone color is absolutely breathtaking with detail. The bed was also preserved on the inside as the side panels are all painted to match the rest of the orange truck, however, the bed floor was professionally lined and coated with a satin/flat textured black bed liner. Start it up and GO Everything WORKS as its supposed to! There is literally too much to list that has been done to this truck. *****Purchasing & Shipping Details***** * Purchasing * - Immediate $500 NON REFUNDABLE Deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending via PAYPAL. - FORMS OF PAYMENT - I will ONLY accept payment in the form of a wire transfer, direct bank transfer, CHASE Quick Pay, or verified cashiers check.
