0 miles on new motor Ran out of money building this car fresh 383 stroker new th400 trans with shift kit b&m starshifter new carpet,seats, glass, new gauges, new paint hood wrap needs to be redone. Runs but smokes due to valve The block #3970010 is a1969 thru 79 year model. It is a 4 bolt main bored. O40
Over. The crank and rods are Scat with 40 over Keith Black flat top. Rod l ength is 5.7
Crank and rods are STD on bearings. Heads are #14022601 cast and were ported and polished by Speed o motive in Baldwin Park. 10-1
The cam is de Sum Custom. It has a weiend tunnel ram dual holley 450 carbs newly rebuilt msd ss super coil all chrome bolt ons, hi volume fuel pump with fuel mangement system,headers and custom exhaus, factory original wheels and glass mirrored t-tops. A mechanics dream it just needs to be all adjusted and timed.ive also been told since the carbs and timing arent in sunc thats the issue. I dont want to sell it but cant see it sitting till i can continue troubleshooting.
