1956 Chevrolet 210 Resto-Mod For Sale

This is the NICEST '56 Chevy I have EVER Seen!!

There are a lot of nice rods out there, but when you see a pro-build piece like this incredible 1956 Chevy 210, you'll be astounded by the level of fit and finish. There's something special about a car that has been so carefully designed and expertly fabricated that you won't be able to resist showing it off every chance you get.

Shoebox Chevys will never go out of style, but it's hard to make a rod that will withstand the passage of time. Fortunately, this one delivers. The handsome good looks that the factory built into every '56 Chevy come through loud and clear, with no major alterations to the Sheetmetal, and the original trim intact. The two-stage PPG pearlescent flame orange finish, which was borrowed from the Plymouth Prowler, looks so right on the vintage Chevy bodywork that it will never, ever become the pastel turquoise of our generation. Workmanship is superb, with panels straight enough to calibrate NASA's instruments and paint that looks as deep as Lake superior. All the factory trim was restored to show condition, including the bumpers, grille, side trim, and you can imagine how expensive that kind of work really is. As you can see, the undercarriage of this car was also restored to the highest possible standard, and you'll be truly hard-pressed to find a nicer, more detailed undercarriage at just about any show you go to. Fit and finish a remarkable, it's obvious that this car has not been driven significantly since it was completed.

The all-leather interior borders are art, with supple tan hides stretched over the original seat frames. That buttery soft leather also covers the door panels who's simplicity makes the design all the more remarkable. The original instrument panel has been stuffed full of classic instruments, and the tilt steering column fits so well you'd swear it was original, which is the essence of professional rod building. All the creature comforts are included like Vintage Air A/C, a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system by Secret Audio, and a set of electric raingear wipers that will never let you down. The Budnik 2-piece billet steering wheel wears a matching layer of butterscotch leather and duplicates the look of the wheels outside.

Big power comes from a ZZ383 small block from GM Performance Parts. Packing a stout 425 horsepower and 460 pounds of torque, it's fed by a Demon carburetor a top and Edelbrock intake and has been most certainly dressed for show. Everything in the engine bay was chromed, polished, or painted to match the body and the attention to detail even extends to the hidden wiring and plumbing. There's a Griffin aluminum radiator with a custom shroud, 4- wheel power disc brakes, and power steering with custom A-arms and QA1 coil-overs upfront. A Tremec 5-speed manual transmission is a delight to row through the gears, and the 9-inch Ford rear is stuffed full of 3.50 gears for tire-smoking acceleration and wonderful highway matters. Speaking of tires, they're 17-inch Goodyears on polished Budnik wheels.

This Chevy is off-the-charts nice and has been featured in the April 2010 issue of Hot Rod Magazine, so you know it's spectacular.

Call now, there are none that are nicer!
