I have up for auction a 1988 Chevrolet Scottsdale heavy half ton pickup. I am the second owner. I bought it in 1989 with 12. 00 miles on it and it now has somewhere around 225. 00 miles on it. I replaced the instrument panel when it had sixty some thousand miles on it because the speedometer quit working. I am selling asis. no warranty. no refunds or returns. It has a rusty hood from sitting under a walnut tree when parked. I have had the springs beefed up. new drive shaft. new radiater. new starter. nbsp;new battery. new altenator recently and AC converted from R-12 to R-34. I have had the truck serviced regularly. It has a tow packager with electric brakes. I used it for several years as my personal vehicle and drove it at work for a service vehicle in my business. It has almost all highway miles. It starts great. runs really good and doesn't use oil. It is like most other older Chevy pickups. it blows out a puff of blue smoke when you first start it. The truck is really a very good old truck. I really like it but I have four other trucks and I am reducing my fleet to save on license and insurance fees. The only thing mechanically wrong that I know of is the AC needs recharged. The power door locks. power windows and power steering all work fine. It has some rust around the wheel wells. on the hood and the rocker panels. It is a solid truck that drives and rides nicely. The cap. floor mat and bed liner all go with the truck. The cap door needs repaired or replaced.
