Car description

1979 Chevrolet C10. 305, 3-speed auto. Mostly original. Truck was originally brown with tan interior. Previous owner sanded it down and painted it the light blue and gave it a patina look. Seat has been recovered and new door panels have been installed. Everything works on the truck except the radio. A/C blows cool-NOT COLD. Heat and defrost work, wipers, gas gauge, all warning lights and speedo/odometer. Aftermarket steering wheel previously installed so horn was relocated to dash-white button by steering column. Truck was lowered by previous owner. Not sure how or how much-I'd say 4/2. Very reliable truck-I drive it 80 miles a day on the interstate at 70mph, round trip to work. Never had any issues. I put new tires on it about 1500 miles ago and changed the oil/filter when needed. Thats all I've done to the truck.
What it needs-The driver side door hinges need some adjustment-as all square body Chevys do.-Door locks need to be installed(included) Previous owner lost the keys.-Some of the front end bushings should be replaced-noticed most were in bad shape last time I changed the oil.-There is some rust behind the driver's side rear wheel(pictured). Thats the worst of it. Some small spots in the bed. Doors, rockers, and cab corners are solid. It is a fake "patina" truck so I'm sure that's why the rust wasn't taken care of when painted.-Blinkers work but are not self canceling. They work fine but you have to turn them off yourself. Should be a simple fix. They worked correctly until I had a new ignition installed.
I'm in no hurry to sell the truck. I'm just trying to down size my fleet. Save your low ball offers for someone else. And please don't ask me if I think the truck will make it back to your house in BFE. It's a 79 model-anything could happen. Shipping/pick-up is on the buyer. If you're local, feel free to come look at it. $500 deposit due immediately after auction ends.
