Car description

You are bidding on a very rare 1957 Chevy 2 door wagon. the previous owner told me the engine was a rebuilt 350. I have never checked the numbers. It runs strong. no leaks. and has a bigger cam which sounds awesome through the ss headers and flowmaster exhaust which was installed last summer. As I understand it. the wagon was built about 11 years ago. It has 11k miles on it. The frame is painted green. like the car. so the body was obviously off the frame when it was built. The underside is dirty now and could use a good cleaning. The trans is a turbo 350 which works well. It has a 10 bolt rear. it has been lowered and sits just right. The wheels are AR hopsters and were new last summer. The dash is custom and has Dakota Digital gauges and a electric windshield wiper system. I do not have the wiper arms. I have an electric antenna. which is not installed. The steering has been upgraded and has a tilt column. Disc brakes have been installed on the front. The paint shines nicely. but is more "driver" quality now than "show" quality. it has a few nicks and a couple of minor dings here and there. I have tried to capture some of these areas in the photos. There may be 7-8 spots all together. Overall. the body looks to be very solid. the floor has had a couple of small repairs and looks solid. The workmanship is okay but not show quality. they appeared to use a repro panel on one side. You might want to address it at some point and replace the body mount insulators. All the chrome was replaced when the car was built. it appears to be reproductionThe windshield was replaced recently. I have some of the stainless for the windshield. the previous owner liked the look without stainless. so he left it off. The interior is awesome - it is today's look with ultra-leather. custom door panels. armrests. and console. The interior was installed this past summer. The car runs good. sits right. and sounds awesome. I have had a lot of fun with it. but it is time to part with some toys. The car is a great value for the money. We drove the car 6 hours to Columbus Ohio last summer with no issues and had a blast doing it. I am located in Winchester. Va along I81. you can reach me at 540-336-3357 to arrange to look at the car in person.
