1966 Corvette Convertible Resto-Mod. This is a two owner vehicle that still has all original body panels and frame. It has received a complete body-off restoration in 2007 to the highest standards. It has only been driven 1200 miles since restoration. It is a well sorted vehicle. ARP stainless bolts in all critical locations.

a Chevrolet 383 crate motor 460 HP. The engine was built by MAS Performance Racing Engines. Dyno charts and engine builder documentation is available. It’s running a fresh original to the car M20 manual 4 speed transmission, aluminum Fidanza flywheel, Center Force dual disc clutch, Wilwood hydraulic throw-out bearing and a Vansteel built rear differential with a 3.73 rear axle ratio. The wheels are 20” Coys with 255/30/20 9 inch BF Goodrich fronts and 285/30/20 11 inch rears.

Paint 2005 GM Magnetic Red [GM 86] BASF base coat / clear coat paint work. It has re-chromed vent wings and all stainless steel . All interior latches, strikers, window mechanisms, hood latches and brackets have been nickel plated by Seminole Metal Finishing, Inc. The fender flares and the front spoilers and the L88 style hood were all added in 1971. And then cleaned them up in 2007.

The original frame was glass bead blasted and powder coated. All frame seams have been welded. A Vette Performance Products front and rear suspension with boxed tubular upper and lower control arms has been installed in front. Vansteel narrowed control arms have been installed in the rear. Transverse fiber glass adjustable mono leaf springs have been installed in the front and rear by Vette Performance Products. Heavy duty 4 piston front and rear brakes by Stainless Steel Brakes Corp. And power steering.

The interior has been restored with new Al Knock door panels, power Z06 Black leather seats, new carpeting and a new convertible top. All gauges’ function 100% including the stock radio. An MSD 6AL ignition box and a MSD tach drive distributor, Classic Auto Air, Bee Cool radiator, Spal electric fan. A & N Red Horse couplers and fittings have been used through-out. .
