1964 Chevrolet Chevelle True SS Malibu Classic Muscle Car Project 64 No Rust AC

You are bidding on a rock solid 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is a TRUE SS car and a rare find for the restoration enthusiast. This actual car originally came with bucket seats a V8 engine and Air Conditioning. This car has no rust and the body is in excellent shape, no damage and super straight lines.
This is a Van Nuys California Original production car, Pink Slip is a clean title and in hand, registration is currently set on non-op. Nice all original glass, original steering column included. Front disc brakes upgraded, rear drum.
The paint is fresh but is a quick 2 stage color just to protect the body we started to color sand and spot primer the paint to get ready for a pro job but decided to focus on other projects and sell this one.
Several things to note: This car runs and drives just fine, BUT the engine and transmission in it are from a 1989 Chevy Suburban LT1 350 with turbo 350 transmission :) and the gas tank for that power plant is in the trunk. So just for anybody unaware, this is NOT the correct motor trans and fuel tank or steering column for this car.
As mentioned this is a full restoration project car for those wishing to restore it to its original Muscle car beauty. The other thing to note, the transmission tunnel was modified to fit a Tremec transmission for road racing back in the day, this auction does included the floor pan pieces to recover that modification.
Outside of all that this car is a True SS original and a rare find. The only interior pieces that we have included with the auction is rear bench seats (in need of reupholstering) and the INCORRECT buckets you see in the photos. The dash and gauge cluster are original, fresh headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror etc. We have the complete exterior trim except the body line that runs on top of the fender.
